Frequently asked questions - recruiters

What is TalentPuzzle?

TalentPuzzle is a marketplace where employers and recruitment firms meet in order to fill vacancies. By registering on TalentPuzzle you gain access to a large number of vacancies with top employers who are willing to pay you a placement fee for a successful introduction.

How much does it cost to use TalentPuzzle?

TalentPuzzle is a free service for recruitment firms until you make a placement. TalentPuzzle will retain 25% of each placement fee.

How large are the placement fees on TalentPuzzle?

Placement fees vary depending on employer needs and budgets. Fees are similar to industry specific market practice.

What jobs can I find on TalentPuzzle?

Employers who advertise on TalentPuzzle cover all categories in all industries.

How does TalentPuzzle earn money?

TalentPuzzle takes a transaction fee for each successful hire equal to 25% of each placement fee.

Why should I give up 25% of my placement fee?

By using TalentPuzzle you get access to more vacancies and consequently can make more placements. At the same time you will spend less time cold calling and marketing to potential employers.

We already have enough business – why should we join TalentPuzzle?

TalentPuzzle can either be your primary or your secondary placement channel. Many recruitment firms, even "retained only" firms, use TalentPuzzle to supplement their existing business. Access to a large number of vacancies enables you to generate substantial incremental revenue at no additional costs.

When do I get paid?

TalentPuzzle offers a standard 8 week money-back employment guarantee. After this time period has elapsed without a refund request from the employer, we will transfer your share of the placement fee to you. Under "My Transactions" in the "Account" tab you can follow the status of the pending awards and see when they become due. If a completed transaction does not show up under "My Transactions", go to your "Engaged Vacancies" List and choose "Request Placement Fee" under "Take Action". This will send a reminder to the respective employer.

We have multiple recruiters in our firm. Can we have multiple users under one account?

TalentPuzzle is designed to accommodate multiple users within one account. You can add additional users under "Account" by choosing "Add/View Users" and convert your "Single User Account" into a "Multiple User Account". The first user in a Multiple User Account will become the Account Manager with certain organizational privileges. Each user will have their own login details, but can track the activities of other users in the same account.

How do I join TalentPuzzle?

The marketplace is not open for everybody. TalentPuzzle reviews register requests and sends you an invitation to join. The marketplace is closed to ensure the quality and professionalism of recruiters.

Who gets access to the CVs I upload on TalentPuzzle?

Candidates are kept confidential. Only the employer to whom you are sending the CV to will get access to it. Privacy and security are of utmost importance to us and we encourage all members to read the Privacy Policy.

How do I submit CVs?

Once an employer has given you permission to work on a vacancy it will show up in your "Engaged Vacancies" folder. You can select a specific vacancy and submit a CV by clicking on the button "Submit CV". The system will ask you to attach either a Word or PDF file in your own format. TalentPuzzle requires that all candidates meet the specific job requirements and are contacted and have expressed interest before you submit their CVs.

What if another recruitment firm submits my candidate for the same vacancy?

TalentPuzzle prevents multiple CV submissions via our system. For this purpose we ask for the name and home postcode of each candidate before submitting the CV. However, should the system fail to block a multiple submission, the owner of the candidate is the recruitment firm who first submitted the candidate. All submissions are date and time stamped.

Who owns the submitted candidate?

Recruiters own the candidate they submit for a period of 180 days from the date of submission. Candidates who previously apply to the employer outside of TalentPuzzle belong to the employer.

How does the employment guarantee work?

An employer can request a refund should a candidate leave within the first 8 weeks of employment. In this case we refund the placement fee in full. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more detail. You will be notified via email if we grant a refund to an employer.

What if I already work with an employer listed on TalentPuzzle?

If you have an existing relationship with an employer you can continue to work offline, or you can use TalentPuzzle subject to our Terms & Conditions. Our Terms and Conditions prohibit that you bring new business developed through TalentPuzzle offline and anyone attempting to violate this policy will immediately be removed from the TalentPuzzle marketplace.

How does TalentPuzzle’s non-solicitation agreement work?

TalentPuzzle highly discourages recruiters from recruiting employees out of employers with whom they work through the TalentPuzzle marketplace. By registering on TalentPuzzle you agree to the following non-solicitation terms in our Terms and Conditions: "recruiters" agree to not solicit employees from employers for whom the recruiter has placed a candidate through TalentPuzzle in the past year.
